Pet Skin Doctor

Today, we learned something very interesting. After finally calling the vet with our built-up list of questions, we got some answers. Our new puppy has been eating EVERYTHING. But he particular likes dirt and mulch. 

Since I know dogs often chomp on grass and because it is so hard to keep him out of these things 24/7, we asked the vet if dirt, mulch and grass are bad for him.  She said it’s possible he is eating dirt because he is not getting the proper nutrition in his diet. Apparently, this would also account for his diarrhea. I can’t believe how much effect nutrition has on proper dog skin care.
